25th Anniversary at 2008 Spring Fair Banquet

CPGA members celebrated the club’s 25th anniversary at the Spring Fair banquet on April 17th.

Highlights included a basket auction which raised $265 and the presentation of a lifetime membership to longtime supporter Karen Lynch.

Thanks go to Ian Styler for designing a great new logo for the CPGA 25th Anniversary. Since no entries were submitted for the logo contest, Ian was gracious enough to step in and make sure we had a professional looking logo.

CPGA President Martha Johnson designed and decorated the cake with a lot of help from husband Ed. It is a golf course for Pete and the farm for Marcie and the bent bridge
bridging the 2 lives together.

Pygmy goats and paint

Thought this was funny.

I decided to put a fresh coat of paint on one of the doe barns over the Labor Day weekend. So I did, well my doe GRCH Jeff’s Classics Satine, didn’t like that idea too much, so she rubbed her head all over the freshly painted barn, much to my dismay.

The worst thing is, we have a goat show this coming weekend, on the 8th and 9th. So she got a head bath, luckily the paint came off with a little bit of water and scrubbing.

So, a lesson learned. DO NOT paint your barn, unless you want your goats to be the same color as your barn.
